Ti-mothy
Author: Keriane Kellogg
Artist: Ti-mothy
Although he is still relatively new, Ti-mothy, is already gaining recognition and respect in the music industry. Hailing from South Carolina, this young artist discovered his passion for music at the age of 15 when he was a 6th grade Chorus student. As his love for music has grown, he has discovered that he enjoys experimenting with many forms of musical expression while writing his own music. He also has a single coming out later this year featuring singer/songwriter and Flatland Hills lead vocalist, Travis Yates titled “Haze”. He draws his inspiration from his chorus teacher, Doug Thompson, and the things that happen in his day-to-day life. Ti-mothy says, “Music means everything to me…It brings out all of my emotions. Music is my identity.” When asked what his greatest challenge has been in being an artist he says, "Being a white rapper…When people look at white rappers, they tend to laugh at them until they make a name for themselves. I want to show the world that Ti-mothy is here and he is here to stay.” You will be able to check out Ti-mothy’s new single dropping later this year with a video soon to follow featuring Travis Yates of Flat Land Hills.
