Oh please feet don't fail me now
I've got to get away somehow
Been beaten by choices that I chose to choose
Try to find the light but now it seems the dark is all around
Cry but I don't make a sound
All I hear is voices saying destined to lose

Got to get to higher ground
That sudden sinking feeling left me all confused
So I run and find a happy place
And fake a smile upon my face
Won't give them the satisfaction and make my pain my muse
