Guns and Roses is Coming Back

From the eighties to the mid-nineties, Guns and Roses reigned supreme as one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Hailed as the most dangerous rock band in the world, they were very well-known for their onstage antics and rock and roll lifestyle of outright aggression. Living day to day only for the music, crashing on couches and basically homeless, they scratched and clawed their way to the top of the rock and roll scene.
After the release of “Appetite for Destruction”, the band became bigger than they could ever imagine. Unfortunately, things started getting the best of them due to the sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle that they had become accustomed to. They were still turning out hit albums such as “Guns N Roses Lies” and a double album titled “Use Your Illusion 1 and 2”, but tensions flared in the band between frontman, Axl Rose, and lead guitar player, Slash. Due to creative and personal differences, the band started to slowly self-destruct due to frontman, Axl Rose, and his control issues; not to mention his racial views on songs like “One in a Million”, which flared tempers with lead guitar player, Slash who is half African American.
After the release of the duel album, Axl Rose gave the band an ultimatum. He told them that they were to sign over all rights to the music to him or he would quit the band immediately. The band reluctantly agreed due to the fact that the show must go on, but slowly, the band completely disintegrated and broke up after recording the song “Sympathy for the Devil” for the movie Interview with a Vampire. Slash went on to form the super group, Velvet Revolver, and several solo projects. Axl Rose however took the band name Guns N Roses and tried to forge ahead with a brand new cast of characters including guitar player, Buckethead. Talk soon circulated of an album to be released called Chinese Democracy, a project that was long overdue. When the album was finally released to the public, it was an absolute mockery of all that Guns N Roses stood for. This “new” version of Guns N Roses was not accepted by the masses and the band and music slowly drifted into the legend of yesterday.
Then rumors of a reunion begin to surface. For the better part of ten years, whispers of the band’s great comeback was on the tongue of every Guns and Roses fan, but in truth, this reunion was highly doubtful. Today, a press release from a long time friend of Duff McKagan, original bass player of Guns N Roses, said that the rumors ARE true stating “Guns N Roses is coming back m************”. Scott Weiland, frontman of Velvet Revolver, and 90’s sensation Stone Temple Pilots has also said that the rumors are true and that Axl Rose and Slash are on friendly terms again. If this is true, this will truly be the biggest rock and roll reunion of all time, but for now, fans will have to wait in hopes to feed their appetite for destruction.
