Barbara Fleuret
If you're into the music scene, you won't have to listen very hard to hear this name on everybody's tongue. Barbra Fleuret is quickly gaining recognition in the music scene of the South for her beauty inside and out, as well as for making herself a spokes-model for DC Axes Custom Guitars and being voted model of the year with her face gracing the cover of The Pit Unsigned in 2014 which also awarded her an appearance on the cover of their first compilation CD.
Miss Fleuret is not a stranger to hard work or hard play for that matter, as you can regularly see her out and about supporting the music that she loves. In a recent interview, Miss Fleuret was quoted saying "I have worked with many bands and I support them all. I love to see local artists and musicians doing what they love, and I will support anyone who has the courage to put themselves out there. There are some fantastic bands and artists in our scene, and I hope that one day they all get seen and recognized for what they do." Her passion for the local music scene has not gone unnoticed. She is steadily growing a fan base; appearing in music videos such as A Course of Action's music video for "Beautiful" that's coming out soon, as well as the Flatland Hills video "FREAK" scheduled for release later this year.
While she maintains a cool, calm demeanor and is thankful for her opportunities, she's also a huge believer in giving back to the community by doing as many charity events as possible. Barbara is scheduled to be a part of the 3rd Annual Beat ALS show at the Chop Shop on September 19, 2015 where she will be selling prints and giving all proceeds to the BEAT ALS cause. So keep your eyes and your ears open because there is no doubt we will see great things to come from this goddess of rock and roll.
