After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Dr. Stephen Strange continues his research on the Time Stone. As he searches for the truth, Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens the door to the multiverse, including an alternate version of himself, whose threat to humanity is too great for the combined forces of Strange, Wong, and Wanda Maximoff. Things grow even more dangerous when an old friend, turned enemy, seeks to destroy every sorcerer on Earth, messing with Dr. Strange's plan and causing him to unleash an unspeakable evil.
